Quake III Arena, often simply referred to as Quake III, is a first-person shooter (FPS) video game developed by id Software and released in 1999. It is the third instalment in the popular Quake series and is known for its intense multiplayer gameplay and fast-paced action.

My first level with the engine was q3_axedup_dm1. Creating an arena for Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch game rules. The map embodies the engine’s fast-paced gameplay, featuring multiple routes, secrets, and a balanced distribution of power-ups, weapons, and ammo for an engaging and dynamic experience.

The following two levels are for the Quake III mod: Annihilation. This was a indie project that was based in the WW2 era. The locations were a secret V2 missile base, and the other a snowy town, deep in the North East frontier. Both followed the principles of a capture and hold team based mechanic, where victory is achieved through holding all the capture points.
